Backstory
Myst begins as the player stumbles upon an intriguing book, called Myst. The player (from now on the player will be referred to as the "Stranger".) begins to read the fascinating book. It tells of an island world with such vivid detail, that you almost fell like your there. As the Stranger closes the book, he/she notices the front page glowing like a screen. The image shows the island described in the book, like a video playing, except it's ingrained in the paper. Curious, the Stranger touches the page and begins the adventure of a lifetime. *link*
