dniguild.com - archived page, January 25, 1999, archived page, July 21, 2001,
Originally, this address directed to the RivenGuild site (RivenGuild archived page, December 6, 1998) which was maintained by Gordon Currie. RivenGuild closed in June 2001 and Cyan began using the address for the D'ni Guild in July 2001. On June 6, 2001, SqueeBOY posted to UbiSoft's Myst III forums that the site contained a D'ni Proverb, "A Tree falls; a page arises. - A scarab is captured; ink is released. - Life is taken; an Age is given." and scrolling over the word, "D'ni" produced D'ni lettering which translated to "To D'ni."[4] In May 2002, the address began redirecting to the Cyan Worlds site (archived page, March 29, 2002, archived page, January 24, 2002) and the D'ni Guild site was moved to a Cyan address (archived page, December 5, 2002).

The two were merged into one site (date), but each retained their own areas and forums.[5] Content and activity was eventually migrated to the Guild of Archivists and the DPWR.NET site became read-only on October 1, 2012. Garternay - archived page, July 22, 2001, archived page, January 22, 2004
Created by Guildmaster Je'uhl (Harrison Pink),[6] the site was originally meant to be his personal fan site, but launched sooner than planned on June 2, 2001 to serve as a "communication hub" following the demise of the RivenGuild site. It began with a page full of links, eventually added forums and continued to be a news site until 2002. Listed on Cyan Worlds ~ Fan Site Links page of February 19, 2004 as having "Complete info on Myst series and D'ni."[1] Credits page lists site personnel as being Je'uhl, Webmaster, Senior Design Director; Achysan, Assistant Webmaster/Notary; Gandalf, Assistant Design Director; Kehrin, D'ni Historian; lonelyto25, Beta Tester; K'laamas, Linguist. In February 2005, the site changed to a picture of two cones with caution tape in front of a framed photo of a book with Narayan symbols on the cover sticking out of the sand on a beach. Clicking on the image revealed, "A seabird calls. The unknowing one stands at the rail. Peace. The circle is closed. The last word written. -From the Korokh Jimah. vv.13245-46." In February 2008, the site became the topic of discussion on the MOUL forums in the thread, www.gaternay.com. The site changed in December 2008 (archived page) and contained a puzzle which eventually led to an IC blog (archived page, March 10, 2010).
